The shores of northwest Ireland are fast becoming known for their surf, seaweed and seafood. Indeed the Irish have long included dried seaweed, known as ‘dillisk’, within their diet and carrageen moss too which is recommended to remedy flu. We explore the upcoming Sligo Food Trail. An expert-led sea foraging trip, the thrill of Strandhill, hands-on breadmaking session, the art of brewing craft beer in pure remoteness to the refined afternoon tea setting in the homelands of poet WB Yeats.
