Sunny South East

This region of Ireland is known to have the best of the Irish weather – make what you will of that accolade; it does, however, have some of the richest touring possibilities. Along this Sunny South East Trail we take in Wexford, Waterford and Cork – a path known well to many operators that use Rosslare ferry port. From grand country houses to ecclesiastical ruins, todays local craftmanship to the historic ships which left these shores; the revered Titanic and the Dunbrody Famine Ship have heart-breaking stories to tell. Take in beautiful seaside settings, stunning countryside perhaps journey along the newly created Waterford Greenway, a disused rail line trail for hiking and cycling passing 3 viaducts, take time to soak up the beauty of this southern coastal strip of Ireland.
